Moundsville To Make Urgent Pool Repairs

Moundsville City Council has voted unanimously to give the green light to an emergency resolution for replacement and relocation of the Dectron unit at Four Seasons Pool. The aim is to get better ventilation in the place, and get rid of the mold that has been tagged as a major health concern. If the project, which has been talked about for some time now, isn’t done soon, the health department will likely shut down the pool. Work is expected to start soon, and the whole project could take as long as 9 weeks or so. It will cost more than $190,000, but if left undone, it would also leave no other choice but to shut down the pool for good. Although the work is set to begin as soon as possible, the pool will remain open until that work begins.
